The Complete List of Final Fantasy VII Characters

The cast of Final Fantasy VII is perhaps one of the most well known, with many of the protagonists and antagonists being heralded in the wider gaming landscape.

It’s a pretty diverse playable cast too, ranging from the rather famous Cloud Strife, through to Red XIII and Cait Sith. And that’s not even getting onto some of the minor cast members such as Don Corneo and Mukki.

Final Fantasy 7 Playable Characters

Final Fantasy VII has seven playable characters who make up the party. They are naturally obtained throughout the course of the game and two that are secret characters which can be completely ignored. Cloud Strife is the main playable character, as he is controllable for the vast majority of the time.

Final Fantasy 7 Villains

Sephiroth is the main villain in Final Fantasy VII, but there are plenty of other characters also vying to take down the main characters at every opportunity. The Turks, consisting of Tseng, Reno, Rude and Elena are the “rivals” to Cloud and his group of friends.

Final Fantasy 7 Minor Characters

Final Fantasy VII featured a gulf of characters which could be considered “minor” in the grand scheme of things. These have been categorised where possible, but the vast majority have no real connection to a group or organisation.
