Looking to build on their previous successes, Final Fantasy III featured an even larger cast of characters and again was themed around the concept of “Warriors of Light”. This time, however, there were also some “Warriors of Darkness”!
Unlike the two previous games, who had a small array of antagonists, Final Fantasy III featured quite a few different characters who were trying to get up to no good.

Despite appearing as unnamed characters in the original version, akin to Final Fantasy I, the “Warriors of Light” were later given names. This saw the appearance of Luneth, Arc, Refia and Ingus into the franchise lore.
